Peter Beattie, 60

Peter Beattie, of Bryant, died Monday, September 3, 2018, at his home under the care of his family and LeRoyer Hospice. He was 60 years old. He was born on January 29, 1958, in Milwaukee a son of the late William and Elaine (Pilgrim) Beattie. He married Bonnie Henke on November 17, 1979, in Milwaukee.

Peter served in the United States Army National Guard for 21 years.

He was a truck driver for many years.

He was a member of the Anderson-Sather American Legion Post 524, White Lake.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie; four sons, Alan (Alisia) Beattie of Milwaukee, Kevin (Shannon) Beattie of West Bend, Daniel Beattie of Bryant and Robert (Maddie) Beattie of Antigo; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren on the way; six sisters, Jeanette (Paul) Gray of TN, Debra (Roger) Reise of Unity, Nancy (Virgil) Weber of Milwaukee, Kathy Pena of Unity, Mary Corson of TN, Christine (Ed) Netz of FL; three brothers, Michael Beattie of Edgar, Ken (Debra) Beattie of St. Nazianz, Bernie (Laurie) Beattie of South Milwaukee; a sister-in-law, Linda Beattie; brothers-in-law, Fabian Pena and Gene Foss; and special great-nephew, Keveon King.

He was preceded in death by his two sisters, Susan Foss and Cathy Beattie; a brother, Tom Beattie; bother-in-law, George Corson; and special friend, Larry Davis.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 7, 2018 at 12:30 p.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home with Chaplin David Guerrero officiating. Burial will take place in Elmwood Cemetery, Antigo, where White Lake Veterans will conduct military honors. Visitation will be Friday at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
