James Michael Everland, 52
James “Jim” Michael Eveland, of Elcho, died Sunday, August 5, 2019 at his home. He was 52 years old.
He was born September 9, 1966 in West Allis, son of James and Charlene Eveland.
He graduated from Waukesha North High School, and obtained technical certificates from Waukesha County Technical College and Nicolet College.
He was employed at Waukesha Electric, ABC Outdoor in Waukesha, Foster and Smith in Rhinelander, and Mole Lake Casino Security Department.
Jim enjoyed boating and fishing, and he was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.
Survivors, in addition to his parents, include a brother, Scott (Joan) Eveland; nieces and nephews, Jessica, Kimberly, Ashley, Melissa, and Derek; 7 great-nieces and great-nephews; his aunts and uncles, Kay and Ed Stetzenbach, Bernie Eveland, and Ginger Eveland; many cousins; and his loyal canine friend Lucy James.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Steven Eveland; and two uncles, Shelby Eveland and Ron Eveland.
A gathering in Jim’s memory will take place from 1:00-3:00 Friday at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home. A time of sharing memories will be led by Pastor Paul Veldman at 3:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
