Lyle Strasser, 92

Lyle Strasser, age 92, of Antigo died Friday, August 9, 2019 at Rosalia Gardens under the care of his family and LeRoyer Hospice.
Lyle was born on April 17, 1927 in Antigo to the late Lawrence and Helen (Remington) Strasser.
On March 4, 1953, he was united in marriage to Geneva Adkins. She preceded him in death on October 24, 2002.
He graduated from Antigo High School in 1946. He served in the US Army of Occupation in Berlin following World War II.
Lyle was a milk hauler for Kraft for many years. He was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a member of First Baptist Church.
He enjoyed trap shooting, producing maple syrup, fishing, and rabbit hunting.
Survivors include 2 sons, Gene (Bridget) Strasser of Antigo, and Jerry (Laurale) Strasser of Sugar Camp; and 4 grandchildren, Jake (Molly) Strasser, Nick Strasser (Julia Schneider), Olivia Strasser, Steven Strasser.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Donna.
A funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 14 at First Baptist Church, with Pastor Dick Kendall officiating. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 Tuesday at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home.
Interment will follow the service at Elmwood Cemetery.
Memorials in Lyle’s name will be directed towards First Baptist Church.
