Antigo Dental Clinic’s Spring Bowl For A Cause

Posted

Dr. Meghan O’Brien and Team had a fun-filled afternoon bowling and raising money for the Mattoon Sportsman’s Club. For every pin, Dr. Meghan donated fifty cents to support this local nonprofit organization. In addition, a very generous patient donated $300 to the cause. The Antigo Dental Team raised $690 and were very excited to present the check to Butch Schultz and Bob Donahue from the Mattoon Sportsman’s Club.

Here’s some information about our nonprofit cause.
The Mattoon Sportsman’s Club is a vital part of our community, dedicated to fostering outdoor enjoyment and giving back through family-friendly events. Each year, they host an ice fishery for children, providing free bait, lunch and a giveaway for all the kids, making it a fun and accessible way for young anglers to experience the outdoors. The club also organizes hunting contests for kids throughout the year, complete with prizes, encouraging skill-building and a love for nature. Additionally, their annual Mattoon Smelt Fry brings the community together for a shared meal while raising funds to support local causes. Through these efforts, the Mattoon Sportsman’s Club creates opportunities for kids to get outside, connect with the environment, and build lasting memories, all while strengthening the community.
