The Antigo Pickleball Club is proud to announce the inaugural Summer Slam & Jam Pickleball Tournament, taking place on Saturday, June 28, at the newly constructed Jaycee Park Pickleball Courts, located at 915 Tenth Ave. in Antigo.
This tournament marks a significant milestone for the Antigo community, celebrating the completion of a state-of-the-art pickleball facility featuring 16 dedicated, individually fenced courts. The project was made possible through the collaborative efforts of Langlade County Pickleball, local businesses, foundations, civic organizations, and community members, all of whom contributed to bringing this premier recreational venue to fruition.
Festivities will commence on Friday, June 27, 6 pm with a formal grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony. The evening will include exhibition matches, open play opportunities, and a “Learn to Play” session designed to introduce newcomers to the sport. Attendees will also enjoy the Swine ‘N Dine food truck, raffle baskets, and a welcoming community atmosphere.
The tournament itself will take place the following day, Saturday, June 28, and will feature competitive play across multiple divisions. Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each category. All registered participants will receive complimentary swag bags and refreshments. A food truck will be available on-site throughout the day. In the event of inclement weather, the tournament will be rescheduled for Sunday, June 29.
