The Antigo Athletic Department is excited to announce the hiring of Allison Guerin as our new Head Varsity Girls Basketball Coach! We are thrilled to have her leading our program and look forward to an exciting upcoming season!
Please see her bio below:
Being active and involved in sports has always been a big part of my life. Growing up in Antigo, Wisconsin, I graduated from Antigo High School in 2017, where I was a three-sport athlete competing in tennis, basketball, and softball. These experiences fueled my passion for athletics and taught me the value of dedication, perseverance, and teamwork.
After high school, I continued my athletic journey at the University of Wisconsin–River Falls, playing college softball while earning my degree in Health and Physical Education with minors in Adaptive PE and Coaching. Competing at the collegiate level not only strengthened my skills but also gave me a deeper understanding of what it takes to succeed both on and off the field.
Sports have also shaped me as a coach and educator. I believe in leading by example, sharing my work ethic, and creating opportunities for young individuals to reach their fullest potential. Today, I am proud to teach Physical Education and Health Education at the Antigo Middle School, serve as the Varsity Girls Tennis Coach, and coach JV Softball.
As the new Head Girls Basketball Coach in Antigo, I am excited to continue building a strong, competitive program. My goal is to encourage athletes to challenge themselves, support one another, and develop the skills they need to succeed in sports and in life. Lastly, I want to motivate student-athletes to be their best, both on and off the court.
