Merlyn Tucker, 65
Merlyn Tucker, of Deerbrook, died unexpectedly Sunday, March 1, 2015 at home. He was 65 years old. He was born on February 18, 1950 in Antigo, a son of the late Deward Tucker and Ellen (Rice) Tucker of Antigo.
He moved to Belgium Wisconsin as a child and was a graduate of Cedar Grove High School with the class of 1968.
He worked as a mechanic in the Belgium area for a number of years prior to moving to the Summit Lake area in 1983. He has been employed at Bass Lake Golf Course as a mechanic and grounds keeper for the past 30 years. He retired in November 2014.
He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing on Lake Michigan, ice fishing on local lakes, spending time with family and friends but especially time with his grandson Tucker.
Survivors including his mother are his companion of 32 years and mother of his children Diane Bremer, Summit Lake; a daughter, Morgan (Andy) Rindfleisch, Mosinee; a son, Mitchell Tucker-Bremer, Summit Lake; a grandson Tucker and a granddaughter to be born later this month; a sister, Elaine (Harold) Lallensack of Jackson; two sisters-in-law, Audrey Tucker, Fredonia and Leann Tucker, Port Washington; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers, Everett and Russell Tucker.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 3 – 7 p.m. at Bradley Funeral Home. Interment will take place in Lakeside Cemetery at Summit Lake in the spring.
