Charlie Marie Niles, 29
Charlie Marie Niles, formerly of Antigo, died at her home in Campbellsport on Sunday, May 24, 2015. She was 29 years old.
She was born in Antigo on Feb. 26, 1986, daughter of Blake and Kristine (Dowling) Schuhmacher. She married Lee Niles on April 1, 2003, and he preceded her in death on July 22, 2006. She is survived by her longtime companion, Dan Peterke.
She was a mother and homemaker, and helped others through volunteer work at an orphanage and New Hope. Charlie attended Antigo High School and Chrysalis Charter School. She resided in Antigo and Lomira before recently moving to Campellsport.
She loved her family and spending time with her children. She also enjoyed camping, going to races, and her dogs.
Survivors include her daughter, Shelby Niles; 3 sons, Blaze Schuhmacher, Zayden Schuhmacher, and Layne Rull; her parents, Blake and Kristine Schuhmacher of Antigo; a sister Tonya Brzoznowski of Merrill; 2 nephews, Jordan and Nathan Brzoznowski; paternal grandfather, George Schuhmacher of Antigo; maternal grandmother, Mildred Dowling of Antigo; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Leona Peggy Niles; paternal grandmother, Beverly Schuhmacher; and maternal grandfather, Robert Dowling.
A funeral service will take place Friday at 7:00 p.m. at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home, with Pastor Freddy McMillen officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Elmwood Cemetery on a later date.
