Connie Marie Raab, lifelong Antigo resident, died Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at her home under the care of her family and LeRoyer Hospice. She was 62 years old.

Mrs. Raab was born Aug. 15, 1952 in Antigo, daughter of the late Loren and Susan (Boettcher) Berndt. She went to grade school at St. John’s, and attended Antigo High School. She married Dennis Raab on June 16, 1969. She worked at local dairy and potato farms, cooked at Blackjack Supper Club, and was most recently employed at Northland Heat Treating.

She was a good cook and baker, and she enjoyed knitting. She also loved to follow her grandchildren in their sports and activities.

In addition to her husband, survivors include 6 children, Carrie (Phillip) Hackbarth, Dale (Brenda) Raab, Keith Raab, Amy (Steve Hackbarth) Gray, Jason (Jenna) Raab, Casey (Chad) Jaje, all of Antigo; 15 grandchildren; 6 sisters, Christine Meyer, Lorrie Lynett, Sonja Boyd, Tina Peschke, Lisa Berndt, and Candy Peschke; and 2 brothers, Dan Berndt and Dean Berndt.
Mrs. Raab was preceded in death by her parents.

A funeral service will take place at 6:00 p.m. Friday at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home, with Fr. Charles Hoffmann officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00-6:00 at the funeral home.
