Hayden Lee Bauknecht, age 9, died at his home Monday, August 24, 2015.
Hayden was born April 9, 2006 to Brenda (Smith) Dudek and Brandon Bauknecht in Wausau.
He attended Busy Bee Daycare as a toddler.
His life was full of love. His daily life was brightened by the loving care of Barb Kennelly, Jori Kennelly, Rebecca Heidenreich, and Shannon Mosher.
Survivors include his mother Brenda Dudek (David Stainbrook) of Antigo his father Brandon Bauknecht of Wisconsin, brothers Joshua (Jessica Pechske) of Stevens Point, Mathew Repinski (Shasta Stevenson) of Merrill and Zachary Dudek of Antigo, a sister Breanna Dudek of Antigo, maternal grandmother, June Smith of Antigo, maternal grandfather, Thomas (Kathie) Smith of Las Vegas, paternal grandparents Jacquelyn and Jeffrey Bauknecht of Fond du Lac and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A time of visitation and remembrance will be Saturday from 5:00-7:00 PM at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established in his name.
Hayden’s family is so very grateful to the staff and team of doctors and Marshfield St. Joseph’s Hospital.
