Stephan J Wisniewski, 57

Stephan J Wisniewski, of Antigo, died Thursday, October 1, 2015, after a brief battle with cancer, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was 57 years old. He was born on March 29, 1958 in Antigo, a son of the late Richard Wisniewski and Martha (Spychalla) Schimilfining of Antigo. He married Deb Burkhart on June 18, 1983 at St. Hyacinth Catholic Church, Antigo. The couple later divorced and continued to be good friends.

He was a graduate of Antigo High School with the class of 1976.

Steve was employed at Johnson Coil, Waukesha Bearings and Ace Equipment all in Antigo.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and following the Green Bay Packers.

Survivors including his mother and ex-wife are two daughters, Lena (Gene) Rogatzki of Bloomer, Kimberly (James) Rogers of Bryant; six grandchildren; four brothers, Eddie Wisniewski and special friend Lynn, Merrill, James Wisniewski and special friend Marti, Orlando, FL, Paul (Kwi) Wisniewski, Graham, Washington, Ronald Wisniewski, Oconto Falls; and Steve’s special friend, Rose Dowling of Antigo.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. David Schmidt officiating. Burial will take place in Bent Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 – 7 p.m. at Bradley Funeral Home and Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services.
