Marion A. Marvin, 86
Marion Amelia Marvin, of Antigo, died at her home on Monday, December 7, 2015 under the care of LeRoyer Hospice. She was 86 years old.
She was born March 16, 1929 in Antigo, daughter of the late Jerome and Della (Naumann) Goodwill. She married Norman Marvin on May 8, 1948, and he preceded her in death on March 17, 2011.
Marion was a 1946 graduate of Antigo High School. She was a homemaker. Before raising her family, she was employed at Weinbrenner Shoe Factory. She later worked tying flies for Sheldons and as a clerk at Snyder Drug Store.
She enjoyed gardening, cooking, quilting, raising and canning raspberries, and spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed meeting with the Antigo seniors group, and always liked to get together with her friends to play Zonk.
She is survived by 3 daughters, Dawn Wild of Antigo, Debora (David) Slater of Antigo, and Barbara (Ranier) Belott of Milwaukee; 2 sons, Timothy (Kay) Marvin of Antigo, and Peter Marvin of Antigo; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her twin sister, Marilyn Steinbach; sisters, Lori Williams, and Joanne Hille; a brother George Goodwill; and son-in-law Floyd Wild.
A funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Peace Lutheran Church, with Rev. David Karolus officiating. Visitation will be 9:00-11:00 Friday at the church. Interment at Elmwood Cemetery will follow the service.
