Wittenberg-Birnamwood School District 4 Year Old Kindergarten Registration March 14th 3-5pm Birnamwood Elementary School gym, 337 Main St., Birnamwood & March 15th 3-5pm Wittenberg Elementary School cafeteria, 300 S. Prouty St., Wittenberg. This is for children who will be 4 years old by Sept. 1, 2016 for the 2016-17 school year. Please bring along proof of birth date (birth certificate, baptismal record or passport) and immunization record. There will be a $10 registration fee to be paid in the fall. National Boys & Girls Club Week Open House March 14th 4-6pm Boys & Girls Club, 411 Superior St., Antigo. Don’t miss out on this year’s National Boys & Girls Club Week! We are celebrating 15 years in Langlade County, and all of the great kids we serve. Our open house includes the Boys & Girls Club Week proclamation, Youth of the Year speech, food & refreshments. Living Well with Chronic Conditions-Put Life Back in Your Life! March 15th 9:30am-Noon St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, 138 Bissell Street, White Lake. This 6 week program is designed to help those with chronic health conditions build confidence in their ability to manage their health and maintain active & fulfilling lives. Throughout this 6-week course, participants will learn about managing fatigue, pain, isolation, medication, exercises for balance, flexibility & strength; communicating effectively with family, friend, and health care professionals; nutrition; and making informed treatment decisions. $10 is the suggested contribution. Antigo School District’s Annual Staff Event/Fundraiser March 17th 5pm Timberhaven, W6962, WI-64, Bryant. Money raised & food donated will go to our local food pantry. Crestwood Elementary is hosting the event.
American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Langlade County Kickoff March 16th 5:30pm Aspirus Langlade Hospital (conference room behind chapel), 112 E. 5th Ave., Antigo. Everyone is invited to the kickoff to learn about how to help the American Cancer Society save more lives from cancer. Food and refreshments will be provided. The program will highlight how the community has benefited from funds raised & will honor cancer survivors & caregivers. Guests will have the opportunity to register a team or themselves for the Relay For Life event, which will be held on August 19-20 at Peaceful Valley Park in Antigo. The committee will be announcing this year’s event theme, provide fundraising & registration information & upcoming opportunities people will have when participating in the event.

Bye, Bye Birdie Musical Production March 17th-19th 7:30-9:30pm Antigo High School – Volm Theater, 1900 Tenth Ave., Antigo. This 1950’s romp through music, laughter, costumes and innocent fun helps us remember that “You’re Never Dressed Without a Smile” and that the Ed Sullivan show once reigned supreme. Four-Year Old Kindergarten Open House Crandon School District March 18th 11:30am-6pm Crandon Elementary School, 9750 Hwy. 8, Crandon. This open house is for parents interested in 4 yr. old kindergarten for the 2016-17 school year. Any interested parents can fill out an enrollment form for their child that day. Parents are required to bring their child with them to enroll in the program. This will give your child the opportunity to meet the teachers. Parents should bring their child’s birth certificate & immunization record. The 4K staff will be presenting information and answering questions for parents.
