James E. Bruss, 71

James “Jim” E. Bruss died Sunday, June 19, 2016 at his home in Antigo.
Jim was born on September 21, 1944 to the late Elmer and Mary Ann (Biscobing) Bruss in Milwaukee. Jim formerly lived in Hartford, Wisconsin and graduated from Rufus King High School of Milwaukee. He then went on to attend Milwaukee Technical College. On December 13, 1992, Jim married Linda (Tveten) Liederbach at Faith United Church of Christ in Antigo. He worked in the construction business on roads and buildings and later owned Pine Point Resort on Pickerel Lake. Jim enjoyed hunting, fishing, and boating, but his greatest treasure was spending time with family and friends. He was also an avid Packer fan.
Jim is survived by his wife Linda of Antigo; a son, James Kyler Bruss of Pickerel; two daughters, Stacy (Alan) Glowacki of Janesville and Cindy Tatro of Schofield; a brother, Richard Bruss and his special friend Paula of Milwaukee, and their daughters Kimberly, Jerelyn, and Melissa; two sisters-in-law, Cathy Volz of New London and Sue (Ron) Moseman of Antigo; two brothers-in-law, Tim (Ruth) Tveten of Phlox and Tom Tveten of Antigo; three grandchildren, Ben, Bria, and Lindsey; nieces and nephews, Brian Volz, Beth Roloff, Matt Moseman, Molly Kapping, Chris Tveten, Francie White, and Charlotte Seymour; and his faithful canine companion Maddie.
In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his mother-in-law and father-in-law; Vera and Doug Tveten and his brother-in-law Russ Volz.
A visitation will be held at Faith United Church of Christ from 10:00-11:00 A.M. on Wednesday followed by a memorial service at 11:00 A.M.
