Combining leisurely attire with compassionate fundraising, the staff of Northern Health Centers in Lakewood recently made a generous donation to the Wabeno School District’s anti-bullying program.

The staff raised $396 by wearing jeans on Fridays during the month of May, at the cost of a $5 donation each time to the respected anti-bullying cause. The NHC employees also had a signed Green Bay Packers football that was raffled off for the same fundraiser.

Michele Rocole, a counselor at Wabeno High School, accepted NHC’s donation check on behalf of the school district, presented by Jolene Derfus (behavioral health intake specialist) and Justine Thyne (BH program manager).
