Margaret Anne Gutt, 93

Margaret Anne Gutt, 93, Bowler, died on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Shawano Hospital under the care of Theda Care at Home Hospice Services.
She was born on September 15, 1923 in Wittenberg, the daughter of the late Otto and Martha (Brunner) Wendler.
On November 16, 1946, Margaret was united in marriage to the love of her life, Ronald M. Gutt at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Bowler. He preceded her in death on December 16, 1984.
Margaret went to the Banner School in Wittenberg; she then worked as a housekeeper in Neenah for a few years. She was a faithful member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Bowler and the Ladies Aid. Margaret was also a member of the Bowler American Legion Auxiliary, Post 414.
Margaret enjoyed playing the piano, working on puzzle books, taking care of her beautiful flowers and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her children, Suzanne (Ed) Nicgorski, Muskego, Alvina (friend, Mike) Gutt, Denver, CO, Charlotte (Harvey) Matz, Wittenberg, Carl Gutt, Bowler and Andrew Gutt, Bowler; nine grandchildren, Matthew Nicgorski, Sara (Cody) Bartlett, Liana Matz, Jacob Gutt, Shane Gutt, Gregory Gutt, Kerry (special friend, Dave) Gutt, Rosemary Gutt and Stefeney (special friend, John) Gutt and six great-grandchildren, Sommer, Violet, Riley, Willow, Ezra and Dimitri. She is also survived by two sisters, Alma (Roy) Kelm and Dora Speigel, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, Margaret was preceded in death by one son, Stephen Gutt; four sisters, Edna Gara, Zela Schwartzkopf, Leonora Schulz and Sadie Thomek and three brothers, Herman Wendler. Milton Wendler and Marvin Wendler.
The Funeral Service will be held at 11am on Friday, October 21, 2016 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Bowler. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Town of Almon, Shawano County. Visitation will be on Friday from 9am until the time of services at the church. Schmidt & Schulta Funeral Home, Wittenberg is assisting the family with arrangements.
