Ingo Wrieden, 57 of Elcho, passed away at his home in the loving care of his daughter, friends, and Ministry Home Care of Rhinelander.  He was born on July 26, 1959 in Bremen Germany, the oldest son of Sieglinde Schroeder (Grotheer) and Friedhelm Wrieden.

Many would remember and appreciate Ingo for all his hard work in the revitalization of the Elcho community by refurbishing several homes in the residential area. Ingo was an avid watcher of Formula 1 racing, following his favorites: Michael and Ralf Schumacher.  He also had the joy for speed earlier in his life. He enjoyed competing in Cross Country Rally Sports with his best friend at his side Mr.Wolfgang Rohde, Gnarrenburg Germany taking many championships together. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, horseback riding, and snowmobiling.  Ingo spent four years 1978-1982 serving in the Army as a ground vehicle scheduler. Ingo also owned and operated a Hyundai car dealership in Germany.

Ingo is survived by his parents, two children Natasha Lewer, of Deerbrook, Kevin Wrieden of Berlin, Germany;  two sisters Birgit Luttman and nephews Timo, Laurin Luttman of Schafwinkel Germany,  Kirsten Poppe (Ralf) and nephew Luca Poppe of  Speckelsen, Germany.

No services are scheduled at this time.

The family would like to give special thanks to Weber-Hill Funeral Home and staff of Crandon, and Ministry Home Care (Terri Rogers) for their loving care. Many special thanks to friends and Karl and Lissa Bloechl for the help making it possible of Ingo’s last wishes.
