Loretta Thurber, 59
Loretta Thurber, of White Lake, died unexpectedly, Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at her home. She was 59 years old. She was born on June 15, 1957 in Kansas City, Kan. a daughter of the late Clement and Merlene Fuhr. She married Walter Thurber on February 14, 1990 in Adams Friendship.
She moved to White Lake in 1996. She volunteered at the White Lake Community Food Pantry and delivered papers.
Loretta’s hobbies included reading, watching crime shows, drinking coffee and playing Bingo.
She loved spending time with her granddaughters and enjoyed babysitting.
In addition to her husband survivors include a daughter, Rebecca Thurber of Antigo; two sons, Billyray Thurber and Aaron Thurber of White Lake; two granddaughters, Katelin Thurber and Jaydin Sprague; step-mother, Sandra Fuhr of Las Vegas; two sisters, Regina Harrod of Nekoosa and Patty (Danny) Green of Olathe, Kan.; a brother, David Fuhr of Kansas; special friends, Kim Alft of Antigo and Addie MacDonald of White Lake. She is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Deann Fuhr; two brothers, Robert and Anthony Fuhr.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home.
