Kenneth Joseph Karpf,5

Kenneth Joseph Karpf, 75, formerly of Birnamwood, died on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Ministry St. Clare’s Hospital, Weston.
He was born on March 11, 1942 in Illinois, the son of the late Joseph and LaCuita (Meverden) Karpf.
Kenneth owned and operated The London House and a Radio Shack in New London. He then was an automobile salesman in Appleton, Eagle River and Minocqua for many years. When he moved back to Birnamwood he worked for the village in maintenance. Kenneth enjoyed fishing, hunting and listening to polka music. Kenneth had the opportunity to travel to Austria several years ago, where he was able to meet many of his extended family. It was a trip that he cherished.
Survivors include two children, Chad (Kim) Karpf, Hortonville and Kristen Karpf, Stratford; former wife, Lois Karpf, New London; three grandchildren, Remington Mueller, Elizabeth and Kline Karpf; one sister, Barbara (Perry) Schuette, Minocqua; four brothers, John (Debbie) Karpf, Jim (Joan) Karpf, Robert Reiter and Tim Reiter all of Birnamwood and several nieces and nephews.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Steven and Jerome and his former second wife, Florence.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, July 25, 2017, at St. Philomena Catholic Church, Birnamwood. Father Anthony Ibekwe will officiate. Inurnment will be in the Parish Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 12:00 Noon until the time of Mass at the church.
