Ann Marie Reeder, 83

Surrounded by her loved ones, Ann joined her beloved husband of 60 years in Heaven on May 15, 2018. She was born at home on May 5, 1935 in Chicago, Illinois to George and Irene Myroup, and graduated from Fenger High School in Chicago. She married the love of her life, Victor on November 13, 1954 in Chicago. Ann and Vic lived in the Chicago area, and along with their 6 children moved to Eland, Wisconsin in 1968.
Ann was a wonderful stay at home mother for several years, worked at Homme Youth and Family in Wittenberg until she and Vic started their family window business Custom Glass Products, Inc. now located and operated by family in Weston, Wi and Salisbury, North Carolina. She remained involved in the business as Chair of the Board until her death. She was also able to fulfill her passion for interior design, when she opened her design studio in Weston, Custom Interiors. Not only was her decorating talent beautifully evident in many area homes, her “Dome Home” she helped build with Vic was a true showcase of her talent.
Ann enjoyed traveling, with family, friends and especially with Vic to Hilton Head, SC. and Salisbury, NC. She was a master of the most challenging Jigsaw Puzzles, enjoyed music, her flower gardens, golfing, her “hobby farm”, shopping, and especially spending precious time with her children and grandchildren.
Ann is survived by her children, Jeffrey (Dora) Reeder of Florence WI, and son Justin; Vicki (Joseph) Oboikovitz of Weston, WI, and children Matthew (Nicole) and Mallory; Mike (Sara) Reeder of Salisbury, North Carolina, and children Samuel and Adam; Eric (Lisa) Reeder, of Weston, WI, and children Sarah (Thomas) Cody, Lana (Andrew) Jurek, and Erin (Brandon) Devine; Steven (Annetta) Reeder of Salisbury, North Carolina, and children Cameron and Celsea; and Desiree (Timothy) Pampuch of Henderson, NV, and children Mariah and Victor. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Irene (Englund) Myroup, Father and Mother-in – law, Claude H. and Doris Reeder, daughter-in-law Lucy Reeder, sister and brother – in-law Delbert and, Mary Lea Swanson, and sister – in-law Joandra Vollbracht.
While our hearts are broken, our memories of our beautiful mother will always be with us. She had a warm and unselfish caring heart, and never put herself before others. Her faith in God was present each day as she faced her illness with courage and strength. Our family thanks her caregivers and friends whom she trusted and loved, Jennifer Jacobs, and Wendy Naumann, for helping our mother through this difficult journey. Thank those who helped support our mother and remain by her side until the end, especially her sister Virginia and husband Jack, nieces and nephews, friends, caregiver Chrissy, and Pastor Michael Schramm.
