Antigo Area Community Food Pantry November 10th 11am-1pm (Wed.) & November 12th 1pm-3pm (Fri.), 2120 Progress Blvd., Antigo (715) 623-1103. We ask that all individuals wishing to use the Food Pantry wait in cars, or outside and a volunteer will provide direction as to service. Our monthly donation focus November will be baking supplies. Elcho Area Community Food Pantry November 8th & November 15th 2:30-4:30pm (Mon.), November 10th 4-6pm (Wed.), 11224 Antigo St., Elcho. Individuals will receive a checklist of food items and can indicate their selections then submit the list. Food will be distributed based on availability and # of family members. Note that the pantry is not open on holidays, or on days when the schools are closed because of snow. (715) 275-5010.
AVA Autumn’s Blessings Art Show September 22nd – November 18th 10am-4pm Langlade County Historical Society Museum, 404 Superior St., Antigo. AVA Autumn’s Blessings Art Show will be held in the AVA Gallery located in the Antigo/Langlade County Historical Society Museum. The art gallery is open when the museum is open. September Museum hours are Tuesday through Saturday 10am to 4pm. Winter hours start in October. Winter hours are Thursday through Saturday 10am to 4pm. Stop by and browse the gallery. Shining the Light of Peace Christmas Gala thru November 12th Peace Lutheran Church & School, 300 Lincoln St., Antigo. Our annual Christmas Gala will be a virtual event this year, due to our building project and other circumstances beyond our control. Please join us as we raise funds to benefit our school and children. Our hopes are to host this event in person next year and we thank you for your continued support! COVID-19 Testing FREE November 10th 9am-4pm Langlade County Health Service Center, 1225 Langlade Rd., Antigo. COVID-19 testing will be available to ALL Wisconsin residents 12 months or older who have been notified that they have been in close contact to someone who tested positive (and is 5-7 days after contact) or is experiencing COVID19 symptoms. Vibrant Colors of Alcohol Ink with Lisa Krueger November 11th 4:30-8:30pm Northcentral Technical College, 312 Forrest Ave., Antigo. Join Lisa as she takes you on a creative adventure. The day will start with information about the inks, substrates & tools used. Alcohol ink is unpredictable & so much fun to create with. Abstract shapes, whimsical flowers, land & waterscapes will all be covered in class. Substrates used will include Yupo, canvas panel & tile. Art will not be sealed during class time but participants will be instructed on how to do this at home. Wear an apron or painting clothes as inks will stain. A respirator for organic vapor is needed. You may bring your own or purchase a disposable one at class for $5. Bring a box to take your wonderful pieces of art home. No experience needed. Attendees are welcome to bring their own lunch. $45 per person. An attendee must notify NTC of a cancellation prior to the beginning of the event in order to have fees removed or a refund issued.
CPR Refresher November 11th 6-9pm Northcentral Technical College, 312 Forrest Ave., Antigo. This American Heart Association approved course is a refresher for those already meeting requirements for CPR as a Healthcare Provider. Successful completion includes American Heart Associate certification that is valid for two years. Textbook required, can be purchased at NTC’s Campus Store. Elcho Community Pavilion Chicken & Fish Dinner November 12th 4pm Elcho Community Pavilion, N11283 Dorr St., Elcho. The menu will include: Chicken & Fish (broiled fish and fried chicken), potatoes, coleslaw, and custard. Bar opens at 4pm. Serving food at 5pm. Menu items are subject to change or substitutions. Please mark your calendars and get your tickets now for what promises to be another great party featuring Hip Pocket and national recording artist Slim Man. Bring your dancin’ shoes because we are gonna rock this place!!! T Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at the door, Lakeside Pharmacy, or CoVantage Credit Union. The ticket includes free beer, a variety of appetizers, and desserts. A cash bar is also available. This event will benefit the United Way of Langlade Co., a very significant funding source for many service organizations in Langlade Co. such as the Boys and Girls Club, Avail, Habitat for Humanity just to name a few.

REALIFE is designed to be a safe place where Junior & Senior High students (grades 7-12) can invite friends to come and be a part of a night filled with encouragement, fun, and fellowship.
