Donating Memorial Trees for Antigo Parks
For the Antigo Times
The City of Antigo greatly appreciates donations and contributions towards the park system, which allows them to maintain and enhance facilities and community space.
A donation towards the City of Antigo Park System can be the perfect gift for someone that is hard to buy for.
A Memorial Tree will beautify the park while leaving a lasting memory for the community and your family.
The Park, Recreation and Cemetery Department has been planting trees per the ten priority park plans that were drafted in 2010. There is still space available to plant a memorial tree in honor or memory of someone.
Memorial Trees are $500.00 and include a memorial plaque. Locations have been approved by the Park, Recreation and Cemetery Department and correspond to available planting sites identified in the 10 priority park plans.
Locations and types of trees are listed online at http://www.antigo-city.org/department/parks_and_recreation/park_projects/docs/Park_Site_Plans.pdf.
If you are interested in a location or type of tree that is not listed, please contact the Park, Recreation and Cemetery Department for more information (715.623.3633 extension-131 or [email protected]).
The cost for a standard 4” x 8” plaque is $150.00. Plaques with additional lettering or plaques that include pictures may have an additional fee. Plaques are not required.
