Langlade County Criminal Court Report

The following is the Langlade County criminal court report for Jan. 24 through Jan. 27.

Craig A. Schnaare, 59, of Elcho, had a bond set at $5,000 cash for charges of OWI (5th offense), failing to install or tampering with ignition interlock device, operating while revoked and vehicle operator flee/elude officer. He will be in court again on Feb. 3.

Carla J. Bessert,33, of Lincoln St., is charged with child abuse, intentionally causing harm. She will be back in court on Feb. 9.

James R. McKellep, 50, of Birnamwood, failed to appear in court on a charge of check fraud (worthless checks).

Adam D. Johnson,28, of Townsend, failed to appear in court on charges of: possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Calvin J. Crum, 51, of North Ave., received a $500 signature bond for a charge of disorderly conduct and domestic abuse. He will appear in court on Mar. 20.

Autumn Jackson, 21, of Aniwa, received a $1,000 signature bond on charges of misdemeanor bail jumping and operating without a valid license (third offense in less than three years). She will be back in court on June 24.

Joshua D. Taft, 21, of Fifth Ave., received a $500 signature bond for a charge of battery, intending bodily harm. He is to have no alcohol consumption or contact with the abused. He will be in court in the beginning of Feb.

Cindy J. Jensen, 54, of S. Clermont St., was released on a $1,000 signature bond for charges of disorderly conduct, retail theft and resisting an officer. He will be back in court on Feb. 23.

Justin F. Jacoby, 22, of Lily, failed to appear in court on a charge of fraud on innkeeper.

Jerry E. Baty, 44, of Weston, was ordered to serve two years probation with 125 days in jail for OWI (third offense). He was fined $2,450. He must install an III and drive with it for one year. His license was also revoked for a total of 27 months.
