Ruth Louise Pannier, 94
Ruth Louise Pannier, of Pelican Lake, died at Ministry St. Mary’s Hospital in Rhinelander on Tuesday, August 25, 2015. She was 94 years old.
She was born October 18, 1920 in Antigo, daughter of the late John and Hazel (Now) Keen. She married Milton Pannier in Milwaukee, and he preceded her in death.
Mrs. Pannier graduated from Antigo High School. She then resided in Milwaukee and, Texas before moving to Pelican Lake. During World War II, she made ammunition shells in a factory in Milwaukee, and later worked at First Wisconsin Bank.
She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and doing crossword puzzles.
She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Enterprise.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Beverly (Terry) Ward of Elroy, and Karen (David Bryfczynski) Pannier of Pelican Lake; a sister, Rachel Schramke of Elcho; 3 grandchildren, Michael (Lisa) DeMent of Hortonville, Donald DeMent of Milwaukee, and Heath (Kristin) Ward of New Berlin; and 2 great-grandchildren, Brianna and Keane.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and her sister, Virginia Gibson.
Private services will be held at a later date. Strasser-Roller Funeral Home is assisting the family.
