National Business Women’s Week took place October 19-23, 2015. The week provides an opportunity to gain attention for women entrepreneurs, share information about successful workplace policies, and raise awareness on the number of resources available for working women in their communities.

Each year, the Antigo Area Shopper/Antigo Times invites our readers to vote for their favorite business woman by “liking” their photo on Facebook. Voting was held from October 12 – 20. First place went to Chrissy Davis, Linda Ojutkangas and Ashley Neitzel of Security Finance in Antigo. Second place went to Laura Solin of Pampered Paws Pet Grooming. Third place went to Yvette-Sharee Ingalls of Yvette-Sharee’s Hollywood Hair Studio. The winners received chamber gift certificates along with a framed certificate for their achievements and contributions to the growth and development of the northwoods’ business, civic, and cultural landscape.
