Monday Night Ladies Bike Ride August 22nd 5:30-7:30pm Aspirus Langlade Hospital, 112 East 5th Avenue, Antigo. Want to ride bike with others? We may have a group for you! Please meet in the hospital parking lot “F” at 5:30 p.m. This is located behind St Joseph’s Annex, east of Langlade Road. There will be up to 3 groups with a 10-12 mile route & a 20-25 mile route. Tuesday Morning “Geezer” Rides August 23rd 10am-Noon Antigo Public Library, 617 Clermont Street, Antigo. Meet at the parking lot behind the Antigo Public Library and Dixie at 10 am. Tuesday Night Running Club August 23rd 5:15-6pm Aspirus Hospital, 112 East Fifth Ave., Antigo. Tuesday Run Club will be meeting every Tuesday at Health & Performance Center (Aspirus Hospital) at 5:15pm for a run. The running club is intended to be an opportunity to run with others. It is not a competitive event – just an opportunity to meet people that like to do the same thing as you – Get Outside & Run! We will run 3-4 miles. Immunization Clinic August 24th 9am-4pm Langlade County Health Department, 1225 Langlade Road, Antigo. The immunization clinic is available to provide childhood immunizations & adult vaccinations. The vaccinations are FREE to children 2 months – 18 years of age if you have Medical Assistance or no insurance. Adult vaccinations are available some with a minimal fee or FREE if you have MC or MA. 40th Annual World Musky Hunt August 25th-27th Ray Sloan Community Center, 7246 Main St., Lake Tomahawk. Contestants will be fishing with their selected guides on the Lake Tomahawk chain of lakes. Marinette County Fair August 25th-28th Gates open 9am-10pm Fairgrounds, Fairground Road, Wausaukee. The fair features 4-H & open class exhibits, merchant’s exhibits, music, midway entertainment, truck and tractor pulls and the demo derby. Stop in for an old-fashioned good time. W.I.L.D. Hodag Mini-Triathlon August 27th 8am-Noon Holiday Acres Resort, 4060 South Shore Drive, Rhinelander. Join Mini-Triathletes at Holiday Acres Resort, on Saturday, August 27, 2016 as Spine & Sport and local Rhinelander businesses play host to the W.I.L.D. Hodag Mini Triathlon. The 300 yd. swim (or 1/2 mile kayak), 10k bike (off-road) and 5k run courses will challenge athletes among the woods & waters of the scenic Northwoods. Proceeds benefit W.I.L.D (Wise Intentional Leadership Development) to further youth leadership skills internationally and locally.

Foot Stock 30th Anniversary August 27th-28th Peshtigo Lake, Hwy. 32/55, Crandon. National Barefoot Endurance Championships. Bare footers compete head to head on opposite sides of the wake over a figure eight course. There are five divisions of skiers with no distinction between professional & amateur skiers. Skiers may compete in as many divisions as they qualify for. Fun for the whole family. Location of tournament is subject to change.

Mountain Motor Madness – Car, Truck, Tractor, Bike & ATV Show August 27th 11am-5pm The Bill Lazansky Community Center, 13412 Hwy. 32 & 64, Mountain. Chute Pond Snowmobile Club will be hosting a fundraising event for motor enthusiasts of every type. It is a “non-judged, no awards presented” show where any vehicle with wheels is welcome to be displayed. There is no charge to exhibit your vehicle(s). The public is welcome at this family friendly event, with no admission charge for spectators. Food & beverages will be available for purchase throughout the day, and Jake Rock Entertainment will be providing DJ services for your listening pleasure. Awesome bucket raffles and the always popular Meat Spin Wheel raffles (with 4 meat winners per round) will round out the day’s fundraising activities. Northern Wisconsin Rebel Ride August 27th 11am-9pm Pour Haus Bar & Grill, 15297 Highway 32, Lakewood. The benefit ride leaves the Pour Haus Bar & Grill for a 100 mile scenic tour of the wooded country side. Included in entry fee: door prizes, cook out, live entertainment & fire pit. This benefit ride has raised funds to supply sports equipment for the athletic program for the school district.
