Norman Pregler, 83
Norman Pregler, of Waunakee, died Sunday, September 4, 2016 at Heartland Country Village in Black Earth. He was 83 years old. He was born on December 23, 1932 in Antigo, a son George and Mary (Wild) Pregler.
He was a graduate of Antigo High School with the class of 1950 and went on to attend Oshkosh Business School for two years. While in Oshkosh he met and married Lorraine Boguski and together they had four children. The couple later divorced.
He then married Kathleen Mignon. They lived in Kaukauna for many years where Norman worked for the McClone Insurance Agency and the Winnebagoland Insurance Agency, specializing in trucking and cargo insurance. He moved to Waunakee in 2016 to be near his daughters.
Survivors include three daughters, Jeanann (Mark) Alvord of Davis, Illinois, Joan Pregler and husband Loren Imhoff of Cross Plains, Julie (Steven) Nelson of Verona; a son, Russell Pregler and Lisa Bahr of Kimball, Minnesota; five grandchildren, Cassi Wieser, Terese Nelson, Daniel, Michael and Stephen Imhoff; and three great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Joan Pregler of Antigo;
a step-sister, Sharon (Larry) Draeger of Antigo; two step-brothers, Ken (Sandy) Homolka of Aniwa and Terry (Jane) Homolka of Mosinee.
He was preceded in death by his parents George Pregler and Mary Pregler-Homolka; step-father, Edward Homolka, both wives; and two brothers, George in infancy and Jerry.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday September 12, 2016 at 11 a.m. at SS Mary and Hyacinth Catholic Church in Antigo with Rev. Jeremiah Worman officiating. Burial will take place in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. and Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home.
A parish wake service will be held at 5 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
