ANTIGO POLICE REPORTS
Monday, April 17th
5:54 AM Officers stopped a vehicle at Neva Road and Century Avenue. The male driver was cited for speed.
3:49 PM Officers stopped a vehicle in the parking lot of an area business on Neva Road. The male driver was arrested for operating without a license. He was transported to Corrections.
4:58 PM Officers executed a search warrant at a residence on Edison Street. A male subject was arrested for the manufacturing of marijuana, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and bail jumping. A female subject was arrested on a probation hold.
11:58 PM Officers stopped a vehicle at 10th Avenue and Superior Street. The male driver was cited for no insurance and was given a 15 day written correction for expired registration.
Tuesday, April 18th
1:31 AM Officers were out with a vehicle at an area business on Superior Street. The male driver was arrested for operating while intoxicated and was cited for operating with a prohibited alcohol content and operating without a license. The female passenger was cited for underage alcohol. The vehicle was towed.
5:29 AM Officers stopped a vehicle at Superior Street and 2nd Avenue. The female driver was cited for speed. A traffic education pamphlet was distributed.
8:23 AM Officers stopped a vehicle on Neva Road. The female driver was cited for no proof of insurance and was given a written warning for failure to stop at a stop sign.
6:31 PM Officers stopped a vehicle at 8th Avenue and Superior Street. The male driver was cited for non-registration of his vehicle.
Wednesday, April 19th
7:37 PM Officers responded to a call from a male on Weed Street reporting that his small Coleman grill was kicked into the driveway and a gray and white cooler worth $15 was missing as well as an Igloo water jug worth $10. There were no suspects. The caller asked officers to keep an eye on the residence.
9:06 PM Officers responded to an anonymous call reporting noise that was coming from a residence on Center Street. There was banging and yelling. The caller also advised officers that a fire extinguisher had been ripped out and thrown at a wall. Officers transported a male subject to jail on charges of battery to a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and bail jumping.
Thursday, April 20th
1:48 PM Officers received a call from a female at an area church on Deleglise Street reporting that they were missing an iPad from the church. The side door to the church had been found open on Monday. On Wednesday, they noticed that the iPad was missing. Officers were investigating.
4:57 PM Officers responded to a two vehicle accident in the parking lot of an area business on 5th Avenue. Property damage only.
11:46 PM Officers stopped a vehicle on Sunset Drive. The male driver was arrested for operating after revocation, operating while intoxicated related.
Friday, April 21st
5:18 AM Officers stopped a vehicle at Forrest Road and Wausau Road. The male driver was cited for speed.
8:16 PM Officers responded to a call from a female on Dorr Street reporting that her garage door was broken. She told officers that she thought it had occurred within the last couple of days. Nothing was missing in the garage. It appeared to officers that the door had been pried open. The inside components of the door handle were missing. Whoever broke it must have cleaned up the parts. There were no suspects.
11:32 PM Officers stopped a vehicle at Neva Road and Mendlik Avenue. The male driver was arrested for operating while intoxicated, 2nd offense and operating after revocation, operating while intoxicated related. The male subject was also given written warnings for speed and no insurance. He was transported to Corrections.
Saturday, April 22nd
1:59 AM Officers stopped a vehicle at Neva Road and Rusch Road. The male driver was cited for failure to fasten his seatbelt.
5:32 AM Officers responded to a call from an employee of an area business on Neva Road reporting that 2 customers came in to use the bathroom about 15 minutes earlier and they left syringes in the toilet. The subjects left in a silver four door vehicle going south on Hwy. 45. Officers collected the needles and observed the store video. They were investigating.
10:18 PM Officers received a call from a male reporting that a silver GMC Jimmy that was southbound on Neva Road was swerving in the southbound lanes and was close to the curb. The vehicle was last seen westbound on 4th Avenue. The caller gave officers the license plate number. Officers were advised.
11:20 PM Officers received a call from a female reporting that a red truck ran a stop sign at Hwy. 64 and Hwy. 45 and was westbound by the bypass. It was crossing the centerline and then turned onto Ackley Road. The caller gave officers the license plate number. Squads were advised.
Sunday, April 23rd
2:13 AM Officers stopped a vehicle at Edison Street and Smith Avenue. The male driver was arrested on a Department of Corrections warrant for violation of curfew.
3:01 AM Officers responded to a call from a male on 5th Avenue reporting that he had given his medication to a female subject to keep track of and monitor for him and now she won’t give them back to him. Officers arrested the female subject for possession of marijuana, possession of an illegally obtained prescription, possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and an Oconto County Sheriff’s office warrant for failure to pay a fine for operating while suspended. Another female subject was arrested for obstructing an officer, theft, possession of marijuana and possession of an illegally obtained prescription.
Monday, April 24th
9:07 AM Officers responded to a call from North Elementary School for a young male student that “took off” from school walking towards the walking trail. The teachers located the student and returned him to school. His parents were contacted and picked the child up.
LANGLADE COUNTY SHERIFF REPORTS
Wednesday, April 19th
11:09 AM Officers responded to a call from a male reporting a theft from his vehicle. On April 4th or 5th, he received a carburetor in the mail, valued at $300. The male subject had shown the item to several people. A male subject from Summit Lake had approached the caller about buying the carburetor, but he had not wanted to sell it. The caller had placed the item in the back of his car and drove home. The next day, while unpacking the vehicle, the caller noticed the carburetor was missing. Officers were investigating.
Thursday, April 20th
3:32 PM Officers responded to a call from a female reporting that she was just rear-ended at Hwy. 45 and Nickle Road. The other male driver was cited for no insurance.
Saturday, April 22nd
12:42 PM Officers responded to a call from a female on E. North Avenue reporting that someone attempted to steal their duck blind and damaged it. Officers observed that there were two cuts to the roof of the blind, near the poles. The blind was staked down and cabled/locked to a pair of nearby trees. It was shoved to one side. The caller told officers that they have had people on their property in the past and a blind was previously stolen. An extra patrol was requested.
Sunday, April 23rd
7:54 PM Officers responded to a call from a female at an area business on Hwy. 55 reporting that patrons had noticed a small grass fire across the road and two more to the south of that. They told the caller that it appeared that the fires were started by beer cans with something inside of them. All of the fires were put out. Officers checked the area southbound on Hwy. 55/64 to the Menominee county line. A teletype was sent to the Menominee County Sheriff’s office about the incident.
Monday, April 24th
8:35 AM A search warrant was executed at a residence on Clermont Street. A female subject was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and for maintaining a drug trafficking place. A male subject was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and possession with intent to deliver of a schedule I narcotic. Another female subject was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and for maintaining a drug trafficking place.
1:16 PM Officers responded to an anonymous call reporting that a red Chevy truck with a trailer went into the ditch on Hwy. 64, near the airport, and then got out and continued driving. The caller stated that he was all over the road. Officers stopped the male driver who stated that he was daydreaming and hit the ditch. There was no damage to the vehicle.
Tuesday, April 25th
9:24 PM Officers responded to a call from a female at a residence on Mayking Road reporting that four subjects in a small, blue Ford Taurus pulled into her driveway and a few of them were walking around her house. The subjects had stated that they needed to get to Neopit. The caller told the subjects that they needed to leave, but they refused. The caller’s husband then returned home and spoke with the subjects. He also told them to leave. The caller told officers that the subjects kept getting in and out of their vehicle refusing to leave. Two subjects finally left, walking on foot eastbound on Mayking Road. The two subjects that left on foot were caught by officers in an outhouse at another residence on Mayking Road. A male subject was arrested on a Department of Corrections warrant, operating while intoxicated, 2nd offense and operating after revocation. A female subject was arrested on a Department of Corrections warrant.
