Hodag Water Shows Thru August 20th (Sun. & Wed.) 7pm Hodag Park, Boom Lake, 1103 Thayer St., Rhinelander. HWS performs a show that features acts such as ballet, jump, swivel skiing, trick skiing, barefooting, doubles, trios, wakeboarding, and pyramid. Members range in age from 6 to almost 50 and some of the members have been with the team for more than 30 years. Play & Learn – REGI Raptor Educational Group Field Trip July 27th 9:30 am Raptor Education Group Inc, N2160 Rollwood Rd., Antigo. Play & Learn is a weekly play group program for parents, caregivers and children from birth to age 5. Staff will provide a parent lesson, an activity for parents and children to do together. The activity will build skills for school readiness and milestone achievement. Senior Center Trip to Tommie O’s Playhouse July 27th 11:45am bus loads at The Refuge, 410 Hwy. 64, Antigo to go to Tommie O’s Playhouse in Hazelhurst to see Tommie O’s Fabulous 50’s. A 2pm show. 27th Annual Polish Heritage Days July 28th-30th Armstrong Creek Town Park, Armstrong Creek. On Friday, there will be beer soda & Polish food served, Cynor Brothers polka band will be playing from 7-11pm and the crowning of the King & Queen will be at 9pm. Admission is $3. On Saturday, there will be a Polish Mass at 11am at St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church, a parade at noon, games, craft booths, silent auction, car show & petting zoo. There will be music from Chad Przybylski from 1-6pm and dance to the music of The New Generation form 6-11pm. Polish food will include, Polska Kielbasa, sauerkraut, Pierogi, Golabki (cabbage rolls), & Polish sweets. Admission is $5. Then on Sunday, July 30th there will be a 4K Walk/Run with registration at 7:30am. The entry fee is $10.
