Hodag Water Shows Thru August 20th (Sun. & Wed.) 7pm Hodag Park, Boom Lake, 1103 Thayer St., Rhinelander. HWS performs a show that features acts such as ballet, jump, swivel skiing, trick skiing, barefooting, doubles, trios, wakeboarding, and pyramid. Members range in age from 6 to almost 50 and some of the members have been with the team for more than 30 years. 27th Annual Polish Heritage Days July 28th-30th Armstrong Creek Town Park, Armstrong Creek. On Friday, there will be beer soda & Polish food served, Cynor Brothers polka band will be playing from 7-11pm and the crowning of the King & Queen will be at 9pm. Admission is $3. On Saturday, there will be a Polish Mass at 11am at St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church, a parade at noon, games, craft booths, silent auction, car show & petting zoo. There will be music from Chad Przybylski from 1-6pm and dance to the music of The New Generation form 6-11pm. Polish food will include, Polska Kielbasa, sauerkraut, Pierogi, Golabki (cabbage rolls), & Polish sweets. Admission is $5. Then on Sunday, July 30th there will be a 4K Walk/Run with registration at 7:30am. The entry fee is $10.
