Beverly Jean Kegler, age 84, of Antigo died Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Eastview Medical and Rehabilitation Center.
Beverly was born on July 8, 1933 in Antigo. She was the daughter of Eugene and Dolores (Dwyer) Plummer.
She was united in marriage to Kenneth Kegler on September 22, 1951. He preceded her in death on October 12, 1976.
Beverly attended Antigo High School. She was a homemaker and a nursing assistant.
Beverly loved cooking as well as teaching her children and family to cook. She enjoyed polka dancing and traveling when she had the opportunity. She was a gardener and enjoyed canning her produce. Beverly loved her family and was proud of them.
Survivors include 3 daughters, Debra Kay (Randy) Schroepfer of Gleason, Dawn (Leonard) Allen of Rhinelander, Karen (Jim) Benishek of Shawano, 3 sons, Kenneth (Nancy) Kegler of Mexico, Daniel (Vicki) Kegler of Kentucky, David (Dawn) Kegler of Kentucky, 31 grandchildren, and 35 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, 2 sisters, Darlene Peters of Appleton, Jill Wagner of Milwaukee and her longtime friend LaRayne Bina.
In addition to her parents and husband, Beverly was preceded by her stepfather, Ray Schooley.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 4:30 PM at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home. Pastor James Reed will officiate. Visitation will be from 2:30 PM until the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
