Alex Schlieve is the middle school athlete of the week.  He is on the wrestling team and his coach is Joe Pregler.
Alex wrestled to a first place finish at the Tomahawk Tournament going 3-0.  Alex’s season record so far this year is 11-3.  Alex can contribute much of his success on the mat from all the hard work he puts in at practice.  Alex has not missed a practice and is developing into a team leader.
Joe Bartletti and Jenna Lenzner are our high school athletes of the week.
Joe is on the JV hockey team and his coach is Steven Olig.

Joe Bartletti consistently shows up to practice, games, team events with a positive attitude and puts in 100% effort. He works hard every shift he plays and drill he does to progress as an athlete and a person. Joe is always willing to go out every shift and put in the effort that is needed to complete a common goal. Joe lifts the atmosphere in the locker room when he walks in. Joe contributes to the team in every way you could ask of someone.

Jenna is on the JV2 girls basketball team and her coach is Carla Wissbroecker.
If you would ask me what the definition of a great teammate is, I would tell you Jenna Lenzner. She works hard every day in practice without any complaints. She is very coachable and has a lot of respect for her coaches and her teammates. Jenna always has a smile on her face. Jenna will play whatever position she is asked to play.  Jenna pushes her teammates to be better and helps them in anyway possible so they can succeed. Jenna is definitely an all-around team player.
