Students receive UW-Stevens Point’s Chancellor’s Leadership Award
Recognized for leadership and service to the university and community, 29 fall semester graduates received the 2017 Chancellor’s Leadership Award at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
The awards were presented by Chancellor Bernie Patterson in a ceremony in December. Established in 1978 at the urging of former Chancellor Lee Sherman Dreyfus, the award honors graduates who contribute significant leadership, demonstrate university or community service and display a commitment to personal growth. Each recipient receives a bronze medallion emblazoned with the university seal, hanging from a purple and gold ribbon.
Those students receiving the Chancellor’s Leadership Award this semester, listed by hometown, include:
Antigo: Keah Mach majored in elementary and special education. She was active with the National Residence Hall Honorary and Residence Hall Association, and served as a Community Advisor in the halls. She graduated with summa cum laude honors and is the daughter of James and Amy Mach.
