ANTIGO POLICE REPORTS
Thursday, December 5th
Officers responded to a call from the Antigo Street Department reporting that a female subject backed out of her driveway on Lincoln Street and into one of their trucks.
Officers responded to a report of an accident at 5th Avenue and Clermont Street. Property damage only.
Sunday, December 8th
Officers responded to a report of a two vehicle accident at 7th Avenue and Deleglise Street. Two subjects were injured. One subject was bleeding from the nose and one subject had a leg injury. The vehicles were towed.
Officers stopped a vehicle at 2nd Avenue and Superior Street. Officers received consent to search. One subject was taken into custody.
Tuesday, December 10th
Officers responded to a report of a two vehicle accident on Hudson Street, off of Weed Street. One driver was cited for having no insurance.
Officers assisted with a semi stuck in the Hwy. 45/Hwy. 64 intersection
Officers responded to a report of a two vehicle accident at Century Avenue and Neva Road.
Officers responded to a call from a female reporting that she was involved in a two vehicle accident at Superior Street and 5th Avenue. The female told officers that both of them were turning right to go northbound on Superior Street from 5th Avenue. The other vehicle slid into her bumper. There was no damage.
Officers responded to a report of a two vehicle accident at 5th Avenue and Morse Street. There were no injuries. Property damage only.

Wednesday, December 4th
Officers responded to a report of a vehicle in the ditch on Cty. Rd. P. When officers arrived, the female driver was inside the vehicle. There were no injuries. The vehicle was towed.
Friday, December 6th
Officers responded to a report of a truck in the ditch on Gruenberg Road. The vehicle was towed out.
Officers responded to a call reporting that two kids were standing by a vehicle that slid in the ditch on Trout Road, north of Cty. Rd. W. When officers arrived, the subjects and the vehicle were gone.
Officers responded to a report of a semi stuck on the hill at Hill Road and Cty. Rd. F. It was blocking the entire road and traffic was getting messy.
Officers responded to a report of a black Ford SUV in the ditch on Polar Road, south of Hwy. 52. There did not appear to be any damage to the vehicle. The vehicle was towed and held.
Officers responded to a report of a theft at an address on Hwy. 64. The theft occurred sometime after 7:30pm that day. Missing items included a 6 foot step ladder and a 24 foot extension ladder, both orange in color.
Saturday, December 7th
Officers responded to a report of a blue Chevy Cruze in the ditch on Crestwood Road. The vehicle damaged four mailboxes before coming to a stop. No one was around. The vehicle was towed.
Officers received a call from a male reporting a road rage incident that occurred about 30 to 40 minutes earlier on Hwy. 45 in which the offending vehicle made contact with the caller’s vehicle and trailer. The caller gave officers the license plate number of the vehicle.
Officers responded to a call from a male reporting that his son went in the ditch with his truck on the corner of Hagman Road and Harmon Road in Elton and there was damage to the vehicle as he struck a stump. The vehicle was towed.
Sunday, December 8th
Officers responded to a report of an accident on Cty. Rd. D. A subject was taken into custody. The vehicle was towed.
Officers stopped a vehicle at Cty. Rd. N and Hwy. 45. A subject in the vehicle admitted to being a convicted felon with a knife in their pocket. The subject was taken into custody on a Department of Corrections warrant.
Monday, December 9th
Officers responded to a report of a vehicle in the ditch on the west side of the road on Hwy. 45, north of Cty. Rd. V.
Officers responded to a report of a maroon truck stuck in the ditch on N. Langlade Road with four children standing outside the truck. There were no injuries and no apparent damage. The driver told officers that they hit a patch of ice. The roads were slick and snow covered. The vehicle was towed out.
Officers responded to a call from an area towing company reporting that they were responding to a call to winch out a vehicle on Cty. Rd. X. When officers arrived, a field sobriety test was conducted. The driver was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated.
Tuesday, December 10th
Officers received a call from a female on Sawyer Lake Road reporting the theft of a generator from the front porch of their residence that day. She told officers that there were fresh tire tracks in the driveway. The caller took photos of the tire tracks.
Officers received a call from a female reporting that she had been in a one vehicle accident on Hwy. 64, west of Antigo. She told officers that her brakes had locked up while she was trying to stop suddenly. Her car then spun around a couple of times and hit a snowbank. Her car was still drivable and she decided to continue home. Once she got home, she noticed substantial damage to the front end of her car. Officers advised her to file a report online, since she left the scene of the accident.
