ANTIGO POLICE REPORTS
Tuesday, October 8th
Officers responded to a report of an accident at the Antigo High School.
Officers responded to a report of disorderly conduct at Antigo High School.
Officers responded to a report of some needles in the alley behind an address on Superior Street. Officers located 8 unused hypodermic needles in the alley way south of an address on Superior Street. However, one of the needles appeared to have blood drops on the outside. The needles were disposed of in a Sharps container.
Officers executed a warrant attempt at an address on Irving Street. The subject was taken into custody.
Officers executed a warrant attempt at an address on Lincoln Street. The subject was taken into custody.
Officers responded to a report of a male subject walking south on Edison Street by 2nd Avenue that was wearing a green t-shirt and jeans with a gun on his hip in a holster.
Officers executed a warrant attempt at an address on Hudson Street. The subject was taken into custody.
Wednesday, October 9th
Officers responded to a report of disorderly conduct at a residence on 5th Avenue. A subject was hooting and hollering and slamming doors. The subject was taken into custody and transported to Corrections.
Thursday, October 10th
Officers responded to a call from a female reporting that a vehicle struck her vehicle at an area business on Neva Road.
Officers stopped a vehicle on S. Superior Street. A subject was taken into custody on a Langlade County Sheriff’s Office warrant for failure to pay a fine for possession of marijuana. The subject was also cited for possession of marijuana.
Friday, October 11th
Officers responded to a report of a two vehicle accident in the parking lot of Antigo High School.
Officers responded to a report of a two vehicle accident at Dorr Street and 7th Avenue. One vehicle was rolled over with three or more people inside.
Saturday, October 12th
Officers stopped a vehicle on S. Superior Street. A field sobriety test was conducted. The driver was arrested for operating while intoxicated, 1st offense and was cited for speed.
Officers responded to a report of a fight in progress at an area business on 5th Avenue. The caller stated that a male subject did not wish to leave and was throwing a tantrum. Other patrons escorted him out and he left when notified that law enforcement was called. The male was described as wearing a black jumpsuit with red sneakers. He took off running southbound on Edison Street.
Officers responded to a report of disorderly conduct at an apartment building on 5th Avenue. The caller stated that an intoxicated male subject was knocking on all the doors, trying the knobs and yelling for someone to let him in. The caller told officers that they had never seen this person before. Officers believed that this was the same male subject from an earlier call in the area.
Officers responded to a report of a two vehicle accident at Neva Road and Century Avenue. One vehicle had run the stop sign at Clermont Street and Century Avenue. All occupants were out of their vehicles, but one female subject needed medical attention.
Sunday, October 13th
Officers responded to a report of a two vehicle accident on Hwy. 64.
Monday, October 14th
Officers responded to a report of a two vehicle accident in the parking lot of an area business on Progress Boulevard. There were no injuries, property damage only.

Wednesday, October 9th
Officers responded to a report of a hay bailer on fire in a field on Fairview Road in Phlox. The owner of the machinery was operating it in the field when it caught fire. He was able to unhook the tractor from the bailer and tried to put out the fire with an extinguisher but was unsuccessful. The fire department had the fire out upon the officer’s arrival.
Friday, October 11th
A male subject came to the Safety Building to report that over a week earlier, he had 12 gold coins, valued at over $5,000, stolen out of his pickup truck. The male did not know where he was when they were taken. He stated that the coins were in a blue coin box in his truck and he usually has it locked. He told officers that he would be checking around and trying to remember all of the places he had been, to try and figure out where they may have been taken.
Saturday, October 12th
Officers responded to a report of an accident at Wood Street and Buettner Road in White Lake. A vehicle was stuck in a field and revving its engine trying to get out. The driver was given a field sobriety test. They were taken into custody. Approximately 100 yards of fencing was destroyed in the accident. The vehicle was towed.
Officers responded to a call from a male on Wilson Road reporting the theft of his prescription medications. He told officers that they had been left in a relative’s vehicle and now the pill bottles were scattered all over the vehicle and the pills were gone. When officers asked the caller if the vehicle was still at the Wilson Road address, the call was disconnected. The male called back and asked officers to stop by. When officers arrived, lights were on in the residence and vehicles were in the driveway, but no one answered the door. The male later called officers back, asking why they did not respond. He was advised that they had, but no one came to the door. The male said that he had taken some of the medication he had left and fallen asleep.
Officers received a call from an area business on Bass Lake Road reporting that someone had driven a vehicle on the golf course, causing damage.
Officers responded to a report of a male subject in his early 20’s that was passed out in a gold Grand Prix in the alley behind an address on School Street. When officers arrived, they cited two subjects for underage drinking, another subject was cited for contributing to underage drinking and a fourth subject was arrested on a Shawano County warrant.
Officers responded to a report of a theft in progress at an area business on Hwy. 64. A male subject had exited the business with a full cart from the fire exit after the store had closed and put the items in a blue Cadillac SUV. The vehicle then left northbound on Hwy. 45. The male subject was described as wearing a gray shirt, sweatpants and a hat. Officers were unable to locate the subject.
Sunday, October 13th
Officers responded to a call from a male who reported finding a truck tipped on its side at Cty. Rd. M and Murray Lane. The caller told officers that he looked around but did not find anyone there. He gave officers the license plate number of the vehicle. The vehicle was towed. Officers got in contact with the driver of the vehicle who would be receiving multiple citations.
Officers received a call from a male on Cty. Rd. P reporting that sometime between last night and the time of the call, someone put a hole in the rear window of his vehicle. He did not find a rock or object inside, so he suspected that someone had hit it with a baseball bat.
Officers received another call from the manager of an area business on Bass Lake Road reporting more damage to the golf course by an ATV or UTV vehicle.
Tuesday, October 15th
Officers responded to a report of a tan van in the ditch on Cty. Rd. G, about 1/8 mile west of Hwy. 45. There was damage to the door. There was no one around. The vehicle was towed.
