ANTIGO POLICE REPORTS
Wednesday, January 8th
Officers responded to a report of theft at an address on Superior Street.
Officers responded to a report of theft at an address on 1st Avenue.
Thursday, January 9th
Officers executed a warrant attempt at an address on 5th Avenue. Officers found the subject hiding in the bathroom. The subject was arrested on a Department of Corrections warrant.
Officers took a subject into custody on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear, disorderly conduct at an address on N. Superior Street.
Friday, January 10th
Officers stopped a vehicle at 10th Avenue and Wilson Street. A field sobriety test was conducted. The driver was arrested for operating while intoxicated.
Saturday, January 11th
Officers stopped a vehicle at 5th Avenue and Lincoln Street. A subject was taken into custody.
Sunday, January 12th
Officers responded to a report of disorderly conduct at Edison Street and 3rd Avenue.
Officers responded to a report of a two vehicle accident on Neva Road. Property damage only.
Officers responded to a report of disorderly conduct at an address on Superior Street.
Monday, January 13th
Officers arrested a subject on an outstanding warrant at Clermont Street and Century Avenue.
Officers responded to an accident on Neva Road. A vehicle had struck a building. Photos were taken.
LANGLADE COUNTY SHERIFF DEPARTMENT
Wednesday, January 8th
Officers responded to a call from a female reporting that her vehicle was in the ditch at Markton Drive and Alft Road. The Oconto County Sheriff’s Office went to the scene. The driver was not intoxicated. The vehicle was pulled out of the ditch.
Thursday, January 9th
Officers responded to a report of an accident with injuries at Hwy. 45 and Boettcher Lane. The Elcho Fire Department was on the scene.
Officers responded to a report of a vehicle in the ditch on Hwy. 64, ½ mi. east of Cty. Rd. HH. There were no injuries. The Highway Department was notified of damage to a no-passing sign.
Officers received a report of disorderly conduct from the White Lake School. They told officers that two students had gotten into a physical altercation that day and were suspended.
Officers responded to a call from a male on Polar Road reporting that approximately 10 minutes earlier, he heard a loud band and then smelled gun powder. It was found that his mailbox had been blown to pieces. The caller told officers that his wife had seen a blue car heading towards Hwy. 64. No further description could be given.
Friday, January 10th
Officers responded to a call from an area business on Hwy. 45 in Elcho reporting that a black truck left without paying for $49.59 worth of fuel about 10 minutes earlier. The vehicle had left going southbound on Hwy. 45. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle. The business was going to check their video footage for more information.
Officers received a call from an area business on Hwy. 45 reporting that about 10 minutes earlier, a male subject driving a black pickup truck, pulling a small to medium sized, black, enclosed 4-wheeler trailer left without paying for $100.49 worth of fuel. The male subject had filled up and purchased items in the store, but the fuel total did not show up on the monitor inside the business. After the subject left, an employee went out to the pump and found the nozzle on the ground leaking gas. Squads were advised.
Officers responded to a call from a female reporting that a white van, that pulled out in front of her on Hwy. 64 off of Cty. Rd. T, had then been on both sides of the road as they neared the intersection of Hwy. 64 and Hwy. 55, then blew the stop sign and ran into the ditch on the opposite side of the road. A field sobriety test was conducted. The driver was arrested for operating while intoxicated and possession of marijuana. The vehicle was towed.
Saturday, January 11th
Officers responded to a report of a single snowmobile crash at Brynes Road and Price-Neva Road. Prior to the deputy’s arrival, the reporting person initiated CPR. The male driver was transported to a Wausau hospital via helicopter.
Sunday, January 12th
Officers stopped a vehicle on Hwy. 45 at Cty. Rd. A. The male driver was arrested for operating while intoxicated, 1st offense.
Officers responded to a call from a female reporting a white car in the ditch at Sugarbush Road and Hwy. 47. The caller told officers that she did not stop as she was on her way to work. The vehicle was towed out. The driver was issued a correction notice for insurance.
Monday, January 13th
Officers responded to a call from the Elcho School requesting an officer for a disorderly 8th grade student.
Tuesday, January 14th
Officers responded to a report of a van in the ditch at Hwy. 45 and Cty. Rd. B.
Officers responded to a report of a one car accident on Koszarek Road. The vehicle was towed.
