Coffee & sweet rolls will begin at 8am & brats, hot dogs, baked beans, potato salad with soda, water & beer begin at 10 am. Crafters/flea marketers are welcome to set up after 7am. 16th Annual McCaslin Lioness Faire May 24th 10am-3pm Lakewood Town Hall and Pavilion, 17258 North Rd., Lakewood. Lakewood Memorial Day Parade May 24th Staging for the parade starts at 11:30 AM at the Old Mountain School. The parade starts at Noon, coming from Cty. W West to Hwy 32, down 32 to Sparkys Lane. After the parade there will be music, raffles, food, refreshments and all day recess at the School House Bar. Call Sarge at (715) 276-9957 for more info or to enter into the parade.
Memorial Day Parade May 25th 9-11am Meet at 8am on the Hudson Street Bridge for Service of Remembrance for the American Service-People who died at sea. Floats & walking units will meet at 9am at Eastview Medical & Rehabilitation located at 729 Park Street, Antigo. The parade will travel west on Fifth Avenue to the Court House to the Vietnam Memorial. For more information call Steve at 715-623-3787.
Immunization Clinic May 27th 9am-4pm Langlade County Health Department, 1225 Langlade Road
Antigo. Immunization clinic available to provide childhood immunizations & adult vaccinations. The vaccinations are FREE to children 2 months – 18 years of age if you have Medical Assistance or no insurance. Adult vaccinations are available some with a minimal fee or FREE if you have MC or MA. Triple R Riding Club’s Annual Spring Trail Ride May 30th-31st Crocker Hills Horse Trail System, Fraley Road, Elton. All trails are marked & mapped. Ride on your own. Copy of current coggins is required for our records. Water will be available for horses. Weekend Camping Available for $10 & $5 per horse. Dogs allowed in camp but not on trail. Chicken dinner served by the Crocker Kid 4-H Club. All profits go to improving the two trail systems that we sponsor. Directions: 15 miles east of Antigo on Highway 64 to County P & Fraley Road intersection. Turn north on Fraley Road, go 2 miles & camping area is on the left. Watch for sign on intersection.
