US 45 improvements in Langlade County scheduled to begin August 10
Work to improve approximately 3.5 miles of US 45 between Rusch Road and County B in Langlade County is currently scheduled to begin Monday, August 10.
Fahrner Asphalt Sealers, LLC is the prime contractor for the $543,000 project that will extend the life of the pavement. Crews will rout and seal cracks and seal coat the highway.
US 45 will remain open to traffic during construction. Motorists can expect to encounter single lane closures in both directions. Construction is currently scheduled for completion in late-September 2015.
Eighty percent of the project will be paid with federal transportation funds; the remaining 20 percent will be paid with state transportation funds.
