Marine Corps 240th Birthday Celebration hosted by the Forest County Detachment of the Marine Corps League November 10th Main Street Ed’s, 7909 Main St., Argonne. Social Hour 6-7pm, Dinner & Ceremonies begin at 7pm. They will be having a cake-cutting ceremony, raffles & more. Dinner will be a choice of Beef Tenderloin, Whiskey River or Jamaican Pork Chop or Grilled Chicken Alfredo. Shining the Light of Peace Christmas Gala November 13th 6-10pm Peace Lutheran Church and School, 300 Lincoln Street, Antigo. Langlade County Historical Society Fall Banquet November 19th 5-8pm North Star Lanes, 400 Prosser Avenue, Antigo. Banquet is open to non-members as well as members. Speakers Sister Dolores Demulling, Adele Demulling & Jean Bricco are the final members of the Religious Hospitallers of St. Joseph to run Aspirus Langlade Hospital, since it was established in 1933. Sister Dolores will describe the Order & the role it has played in providing health care to residents of Langlade county for over 80 years. Dinner & program is $20. Program only is $10. Cash bar is at 5pm with dinner at 6pm. The program will start at 7pm. Those wishing to attend the program only are invited to come at 7pm. Reservation deadline is November 9th.
