Ashley A. Steckbauer, 28

Ashley Ann Steckbauer, of Antigo, died Wednesday June 14, 2017 at the age of 28.

Ashley was born on October 14, 1988 in Antigo to Steven Steckbauer and Kimberly Lambert (Douglas Statezny). She graduated from Antigo High School in 2007. Ashley was a hard worker and formerly worked at Checkpoint and the Refuge. She most recently worked as a bartender at Northstar. Ashley enjoyed spending time with her family. She was fond of animals especially her feline friend, Ivy. She also liked drawing and music. Ashley was a very creative, loving, and kind person.

Including her parents, Ashley is survived by her aunts and uncles, Judy Spangenberg of San Diego, Janice (William) Shannon of Grudgeville, John (Connie) Lambert of Shawano, Pamela (Michael) Klement of Polar, Timothy (Gail) Lambert, Terri (Michael) Johnson of Antigo, Scott (Wendy) Lambert of Elton, and Todd Lambert of Elton; many cousins; and her cat Ivy.

Ashley was preceded in death by her uncle William Lambert and her maternal grandparents Robbie and John “Mort” Lambert.

A memorial service for Ashley will be held on Monday, June 19, 2017 at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home at 1:00 PM. A visitation will take place at the funeral home from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM also on Monday. Reverend Dick Kendall will be officiating the service.
