The Schulz Heating & Cooling team participating in the 2017 Heat U.P. Wisconsin furnace donation.

For the Antigo Times

On Saturday, October 7th Schulz Heating & Cooling Ltd. participated in their 6th straight Heat U.P. Wisconsin campaign with “neighbors helping neighbors”.

Schulz Heating & Cooling, a local family owned Lennox Premiere heating contractor, participated by donating all the materials and labor to install a new high-efficiency Lennox furnace, compliments of Lennox Industries to the local participants who were chosen.  Lennox Industries donates up to 100 furnaces to participating Wisconsin and Upper Peninsula Lennox dealers to help local families in need.

This year, Schulz Heating & Cooling installed a new Lennox furnace in the home of Jeff and Lisa Wiltse.  Jeff proudly served in the Navy reserve for 3 ½ years, then in the regular Navy for 2 years.  In 2003 he was diagnosed with early onset dementia. He has lost a lot of his memories, including his wedding day in 1999.  Lisa works at the Langlade County Social Services office, and Jeff has retired from the Navy and spends his time creating beautiful intricate wood carvings.  Jeff’s birthday present this year was the installation of the Lennox furnace, as it happened on his birthday. Jeff also was a member on the Honor Flight which occurred on Monday, October 9th.

Schulz Heating & Cooling are very grateful for the opportunity they had working with Lennox to provide a deserving family with a new high-efficiency heating system that will keep them warm and worry free for years to come.   Schulz Heating would like to thank their community oriented team members, Russ, Nate, Tracy, Christina, Ed, Jessica and Nick for taking time to help a local family in need.

Please visit heatupwisconsin.com for more information and where you can also learn how to nominate participants for the 2018 campaign.
