The Antigo High School Band will be traveling to Disney World in Orlando, Florida April 11th-15th.  While in Florida, the band will participate in a workshop entitled “Your Instrumental”.  At the workshop, the band will be in a professional sound studio and will record music to a Disney animated scene.  This workshop is fully accredited by NAfME (National Association for Music Education) and covers many National Standards in music education.  Band members will get a glimpse of what is required of professional recording musicians.  The band will also be performing at the Disney Springs Marketplace stage (pictured) and enjoy many of the Disney Parks.

The AHS band last played in Disney World in 2015, spending five days performing with talents from all over the world as part of the Disney Performing Arts Program. The band’s future 2018 trip marks the fifth visit to Disney World for AHS, including performances in 2003, 2006 and 2009.
