Antigo Police & Langlade County Sheriff Reports for 6/28/21

ANTIGO POLICE REPORTS
Tuesday, June 15th
Officers responded to a report of disorderly conduct at an address on Clermont Street. The caller told officers that they could hear multiple people yelling and they had heard someone threaten to kill someone. The caller told officers that there were no weapons and no ambulance was needed. A field sobriety test was conducted. A male subject was arrested for operating while intoxicated and was transported to Langlade Hospital. The hospital was notified of the uncooperative patient. Their vehicle was towed to the impound.
Wednesday, June 16th
Officers received a call from a female on Fulton Street reporting criminal damage to their property. The caller told officers that sometime the night before, a light on a light post was taken and another light was damaged by the porch in front of their home.
Officers responded to a call from an area business on Neva Road reporting a gas drive off in the amount of $51.62. The vehicle was described as being silver in color and leaving going south on Hwy. 45. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle. The business was getting the camera footage for officers.
Officers were at the Probation office to execute a warrant attempt. The subject took off and a foot pursuit ensued. A taser was deployed and the subject was taken into custody.
Thursday, June 17th
A subject came to the Safety Building to report that some subjects were stealing light in the neighborhood on 9th Avenue. The subject told officers that when they tried to catch them, they sped off at an excessive speed. The vehicle was described as a 2 door sedan, possibly a Chevy with 4 youths inside.
Officers responded to a report of disorderly conduct at an address on 1st Avenue. A subject was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and a concealed weapon.
Officers received a call from a female on Hudson Street reporting that her 3 foot lighthouse had been stolen from her porch. It was blue and white in color.
Officers received a call from an area business on S. Superior Street advising officers that an unidentified female shoplifter, from an earlier video, was now in the store. The female was described as having blonde hair and wearing a dress. The caller was advised to get her vehicle information and direction of travel if she should leave. The female subject was cited for retail theft.
Officers responded to a report of an accident at an address on Clermont Street.
Officers responded to a report of a theft at an address on Charlotte Street.
Officers received a call from a male on Hudson Street reporting that the night before, someone took a hanging basket, lamp and 5 solar lights from his front yard. He told officers that he had tools in the front yard also, but those were not touched.
Friday, June 18th
Officers responded to a report of a two vehicle accident on 5th Avenue.
Officers responded to a report of a theft at an area business on Hwy. 64.
Saturday, June 19th
Officers stopped a vehicle on S. Superior Street. A field sobriety test was conducted. The driver was not intoxicated. They were cited for speed and open intoxicants.
Monday, June 21st
Officers responded to a call from a subject on S. Superior Street reporting on a male subject that he believed was high on something. The caller told officers that the male was looking for the keys to his truck that he believed the “little people” stole. The male subject was described as wearing a black shirt and blue jeans. Officers conducted a field sobriety test. The male subject was taken into custody on a Department of Corrections warrant.
Officers responded to a report of disorderly conduct at an address on Memory Lane for a male subject that was yelling in the lobby. The caller thought he was intoxicated. Officers transported the male subject to Langlade Hospital to be medically cleared. They then dropped him off at his home.

Wednesday, June 16th
Officers responded to a report of an accident at Hwy. 45 and Cty. Rd. T.
Officers responded to a call from a male at an address on Mueller Lake Road reporting that about one hour prior to his call, his and another trailer were struck by two different vehicles. The trailer had minor damage.
Thursday, June 17th
Officers responded to a report of a theft at an address on Cty. Rd. HH.
Friday, June 18th
Officers responded to a report of an accident at Cty. Rd. T and Field Road. The female driver told officers that she went into the ditch while she was trying to reach in the glove box. The car appeared close to tipping over. There were no injuries.
Officers received a call from a female on School Street reporting that about a month ago, three lug nuts had been removed from her vehicle and three others were loose. She told officers that she was calling now because her neighbor just told her that it happened to her vehicle too.
Officers responded to a fire call at an address on Turtle Lake Road for a motor home on fire. The caller had observed flames inside and tried to extinguish it with a fire extinguisher, but was unsuccessful.
Saturday, June 19th
Officers responded to a report of an accident on Moccasin Lake Road. The caller told officers that the vehicle was off the roadway and took out about 10 trees. The vehicle was described as a Pontiac G6. The driver was given several citations and criminal charges were filed.
Officers responded to a report of an accident on Park Road. A wheel had come lose and the vehicle went in the ditch.
Sunday, June 20th
Officers responded to a call from a female reporting a theft from her father’s home on Enterprise Lake Road. She told officers that 3 to 5 guns were missing. She stated that stuff had been knocked over to get to the gun cabinet. She was unsure if the cabinet had been locked. She told officers that she had talked to her brother who had been at the residence earlier in the day, but he said that he had not entered the house.
Monday, June 21st
Officers responded to a 911 call at an address on Cty. Rd. T. A subject was taken into custody for 3 outstanding warrants in Marathon County.
Officers responded to a report of a theft at an area business on Cty. Rd. B. A boat trailer had been taken from the parking lot, sometime between Friday and Saturday. Officers got a description of the trailer and the owner had a photo of it.
Officers responded to a report of a one vehicle rollover accident at Cty. Rd. X and Western Avenue. The female driver was able to climb out of the vehicle on her own. She was complaining of neck pain. The westbound lane of Cty. Rd. X was closed for a while. EMS was on the scene. The vehicle was towed.
Tuesday, June 22nd
Officers responded to a report of a suspicious person at an address on Hwy. 55. The caller told officers that there was a male subject there that appeared to be under the influence. He was slurring his speech and people were unable to understand what he was saying. The male was described as about 5 feet 9 inches tall, medium build, with brown hair, wearing white pants, white shoes and a red pullover. Officers gave the male subject an escort to his residence.
Officers received a call from a female on Hayes Road reporting that there had been a bear at her residence for the past 6 days and it had been ruining items and possibly ate some chickens. She told officers that she had been sleeping in the chicken coop and was a little scared. She requested that the bear be trapped. Officers were advised by the Department of Natural Resources that the USDA can trap nuisance bears. Officers gave the information to the female caller.
